Happy Holiday SeasonThank you to all the followers and visitors of The Common Executor as the first complete year of the blog comes to a close. Without your interest, there wouldn’t be a second year. Therefore, because of your support, I will continue to post and grow the blog for a second year beginning on January 9, 2017. Again, I thank you for your support and I wish you all a happy holiday season.

The Year in Review

On August 22nd, 2016 I posted a poll asking the visitors the following question: How Important is Estate Planning to You? The results were as follows:

  1. 60% Very Important.
  2. 30% Somewhat Important.
  3. 10% Not too Important.

The results were encouraging because they confirmed that there was interest in the topic. Up until August 22nd, there was little interest in my blog and was wondering if I was wasting my time blogging about a topic with little interest. Once the results showed there was interest in the topic, I concluded that I haven’t found my audience. So, I changed my social media strategy by replacing Twitter with LinkedIn. Immediately, more traffic started to build. As a result, I will keep The Common Executor going for another year and many more if I can continue to build interest. Like the saying goes, from the movie Field of Dreams: “If you can build it, they will come.” So, if you keep visiting, I will keep posting.
